This is a plain black T-Shirt that I decorated with tatting to make it a lovely blouse. I just cut the ribbed part out of the neck, then hemmed by hand. The piece around the neck is from Rebecca Jones book. The heart is from Patti Dunn's Mini Tats book.I used size 10 DMC Cordonnet thread.You can just take an old rag of a T-shirt and make a lovely blouse .

This is a very eye-catching tatted embellishment - nicely done! Also I'm impressed that you were able to hem the neckline of the T-shirt after cutting it. If I tried to do that - well, I'd hate to say what would have happened. Any tricks of the trade for doing that?
