This snowflake was tatted with a Tapestry Needle, using it as a shuttle.
The thread is Flora #20 with the exception of the beautiful variegated HDT by Yarnplayer.I love her threads and also Lady Shuttlemaker's HDT thread.
This can also be done in Needle Tatting, but it will not be as tight, as the thread is wrapped around the needle. Being done with the Tapestry Needle as tho you are using a shuttle, you get the same tension.
I am not posting very much during the holidays, and also have had to slow down a lot , I have a very bad right arm and shoulder......
